Aged in Spanish and American Oak casks. Light mahoganey in color. Creamy caramel toffee, ripe fruit and smoke aromas form an intriguing nose. Complex, with soft fruit flavors and hints chocolate balanced by a light smokiness.

Cosseted away in the finest, hand-selected oak casks and allowed to mature at its own sedate pace, this is one of the most remarkable, perfectly balanced malts of its kind. One of our rarest most exceptional bottlings, the stocks of Bowmore 18 Years Old may be limited but there's no end to its enjoyment.

Breathe in classic Bowmore smokiness, perfectly tempered with creamy caramel, chocolate and ripe fruit aromas. 

Sip beautiful soft fruit and chocolate balanced with a light smokiness - incredibly complex. 

Savour the long and wonderfully balanced finish. 

Complex and contemplative. The enticing scent mixes iodine, sea breeze and salted caramel, while the light, soft palate shows smoke, cocoa and dried fig notes, drying to clove and black pepper sparks. Water softens the overall impression to mocha and spice, with a mild blanket of campfire smoke on the exit.

This 18 year old is aged in a mix of bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks. The nose is redolent of a damped-down bonfire, with stewed fruit, wood spice, and pipe tobacco. There are red berries, subtle peat, a hint of iodine, and soft oak on the complex palate. The finish yields more tobacco, oak, rich peat, and spicy dark chocolate.
