Le Vassal de Mercuès is a brightly colored wine. The nose has complex aromas of red fruit. In the mouth, it is bodied with very elegant tannins. The concentration makes it long on the palate with peppery and spicy tones. Before being a renowned wine estate, the Château de Mercuès was above all the summer residence of the counts-bishops of Cahors. Transformed into a sublime hotel and restaurant by Georges Vigouroux, this Château is today known for its noble wines and with a strong Cahors personality. A Castle that has not lost its splendor over the centuries!
