White gold color with beautiful golden reflections. The nose is deep and subtle at the same time, with a bouquet of floral notes and white flesh fruits. A light toasted side pulling on the almond sometimes see the hazelnut. A mouth with a full and fleshy attack, rests on a support of invigorating acidity. Then powerful flavors fresh fruit with a citrus note giving full freshness, followed by toasted almond notes that end on a delicious refreshing bitterness.ast.
The domaine is compromised of 8 hectares of vines with an average age of 40-50 years. Emilien is the 4th generation winemaker and works the vines using organic farming. The Cuvée Alexie is made from lieux dites, En Luraule, which adjoins 1er cru Les Gouttes d’Or, and Les Crotots, adjoins the 1er cru Les Poruzots. After fermentation the wine spend a year in barrel and another 4-6 months in stainless steel.
For four generations, the Millot family of winemakers has been operating an area of 8 ha, with various parcels in the communes of Meursault, Puligny Montrachet and Beaune. Today, Emilien works with the help of his parents, Bernard and Sylvie.
